Terms of Service

1. The service

FinedLad ("the Service") is a stag do fines tracker operated by Devin Jones ("we", "us"). The Service allows users to create rooms, submit fines, vote on severity, and manage stag event activities.

2. Accounts

To create a room, you must register an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Pricing and payment

Room creation costs a one-time fee of £19.99 per room. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, your room is activated and available indefinitely.

All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if your room has not been used (no fines submitted). Once fines have been submitted to a room, the room is considered used and is not eligible for a refund. To request a refund, email help@finedlad.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content (including photos)
• Use the Service to harass, bully, or defame any person
• Attempt to access rooms or accounts that do not belong to you
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

6. Content

You are responsible for all content you submit to the Service, including fine descriptions and photos. By uploading content, you grant us a licence to store and display it within the Service for the purpose of operating your room.

We do not claim ownership of your content. You may request deletion of your content at any time by contacting us or using the room's reset function.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
